What is hypnotherapy?

It is a therapeutic process that uses hypnosis to access the subconscious mind and help you to create the change that you want in life. It works only if there is a strong desire to change and if the language used is understood clearly.

Will i lose control under hypnosis?

Accepted Answer

No. While you will be in a deeply relaxed state of mind and body, you will be aware of what you are sensing and also be able to interact with the therapist. If at any time you feel uncomfortable, you can always ask to stop.
Many people wonder if all their secrets will spill under hypnosis. Not unless you want to. As a therapist, I am here to listen to those things you cannot talk to anyone else about and help you find resolution. I can’t read your mind and help you magically.

How is hypnotherapy different from psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy uses the conscious interpretations of therapist and client based on the memories that surface.
 Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to access the subconscious mind, which is the storehouse of memories you are both conscious of and those that you've forgotten. It allows for a much deeper healing and its  quicker. 
So the main difference is in depth and speed of resolving issues. Hypnotherapeutic techniques combined with cognitive therapies make for a powerful process of healing.

How much does it cost?

One session costs between INR 3500 and INR 7000 at Connect. The duration is between 1 to 1.5 hours. All sessions will require an upfront payment. 
Think of it like this: The body and mind you have houses you for around 80 years. What makes it ok to spend more on a physical home than on your own body and mind?

Can i just work on myself through learning self hypnosis?

Self hypnosis is a great tool and it is a powerful way of enhancing affirmations, by helping you plant suggestions in your subconscious mind. It is the same as asking can I make dinner if I know how to make soup. It is just one tool, amongst many.

What is Transpersonal regression therapy?

It is similar to and based on hypnotherapy, used to access and experience past/other lives.
It is for therapy  and healing and not just for accessing out of curiosity. The issue of past lives itself is filled with controversy, however, in my experience, these techniques, very quickly help a client understand and overcome limiting patterns that do not seem to have a logical origin in this lifetime.

When is it useful to undergo past life regressions?

It is very useful in dealing with an issue in one sitting. It takes much longer than normal sessions, with the duration running to even 3 hours at times. At connect, our therapists will explain the process to you and use it in conjunction with other modalities as and when required.

How does reiki work?

Reiki refers to the universal energy surrounding us. If it flows through the energy body in an affected person, it balances and harmonises it, thus raising the body to a more optimum condition. Energy is used to cleanse energy blockages.

Energy that keeps your body going flows along pathways that are not in the body, physically. Chakras are points at which these energetic pathways meet.
